I Feel

Created as part of Indiana University’s Double Exposure project — a collaboration between student filmmakers and composers. This dance poetry short film explores the stages of grief, the tension between memory and reality, the aftermath of loss, and the fragility of human connection. Blending striking visuals with an original, live-performed score, the film captures an emotional journey that reflects both artistic collaboration and personal storytelling.

“I was inspired to make this film as a way to open myself up to people and share my story of grief, and the love and loss that come with it,” - Berin (director)

“This grief is an art
Learning to live with each day
Carrying my heart.”

“It’s something I personally connected with, with my grandmother who recently passed. So I approached it thinking, ‘How would I express all of my feelings of grief in her passing?’”-Robertson
